Description: Lot 44. The exploits and triumphs in Europe of Paul Morphy, by F. Edge, NY, 1859. 203 pages, with the four plates. L/N 3088. In brown cloth with embossed covers. Stain to upper cover, water-staining to margins, penciled notes by David Lawson on endpapers. The spine is chipped top and bottom and split half-way through – this book needs re-backing or new binding.
